I created these stories on the fly. The way I've written any other essays, school newspaper articles and the many stories that were begun and completed, graded, then destroyed for being too advanced for the age category I belonged to at a particular time period in my life.
You recommend that I jot down a few off-the-cuff stories for one contest or another... Been there, done that and the bullies beat me black-and-blue for winning the weekly prize every week. I became a film buff within the first three years of Primary school.
The weekly prize you ask? A gold ticket on the floating cinema, that was showing two featured films from Disney, a bucket of properly buttered popcorn, a Caramilk bar and a soda-fountain drink.
After, the third winning, myself and the other 12 students had their school schedules changed and classes rearranged so that we could have 2-45 minutes session daily of creative writings.
I'm used to seeing my stories being ignored. So honestly, enjoy your contests and winnings. You deserve the same chance I had back in those days.
In the meantime, I'm patiently waiting for the one person, maybe a teacher... that will read my stories and give me at least half a star for the good old days of dreams, where for a couple of hours, I was treated as a budding future author...
If you've enjoyed reading these 5 parts, I'm certain you'll enjoy reading The WynderMyre Memoirs as I've written it all pretty much the same way as these short stories. There's just more to them.
Two novels split into 10 eBooks. Thank you, CeDany BB V-V!
